Content Strategist (English language)

Location

Hong Kong location (preferred) or remote

At Chaos Theory, a Content Strategist is a special mix of marketer and writer.

But more than that, we want people who love to see their creativity make an impact. If that’s you, we want to talk.

Chaos Theory works at the digital intersection of sports, entertainment, and cryptocurrency, and we are hiring to grow like crazy. Early in your tenure, we want you to be able to say, “I am learning new things every day, and my work is directly contributing to the kind of growth most companies can only dream of.”

Let’s make that happen together.

A Day in the Life

You start the morning with a quick look at the metrics on your most recent blog post. It drew a lot of visits, but the conversion rate is lower than you’d hoped. You decide to add a more prominent CTA, so you edit and republish the piece right away, adding a quick note to your planning app to check back in two days. You plan to document the results and share with the team.

Next up, the product team briefs you on what’s in development on their roadmap. You and your manager decide one feature is particularly promising from a promotion and acquisition standpoint, and put it at the top of your priorities for content across the blog, social media, CRM, customer service documentation, and a press release. You add the tasks and your expected deadlines to your public content calendar so nothing falls through the cracks.

After lunch, you sit down with the influencer manager to go over the script ideas you’ve been working on for a streaming celebrity they just signed. The manager requests a few tweaks, but nothing major, and you’re excited to know that very soon, millions of people watching YouTube are going to see what you’ve written.

By late afternoon, Europe comes online and sends in an urgent request for landing page copy. It’s time to buckle down and hit some last minute EOD deadlines.

You’ve got it under control. You make the most of it. We all win.
